BloqLab, established in 2022 and based in Burbank, California, operates across three rapidly growing locations, including a dedicated creative lab designed to foster innovation, experimentation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. This state-of-the-art space is equipped with CNC machines, 3D printers, staging and prep zones, storage, and assembly areas enabling teams to bring projects from concept to completion entirely under one roof. BloqLab also serves as a shared creative and production hub for the MoonLab and EarthLab teams, providing a collaborative environment where design, storytelling, and systems thinking converge with hands-on making. Edgar brings nearly two decades of experience across Industrial design, experiential design, architecture, robotics, and manufacturing. A visionary dreamer, he pairs creative ambition with technical expertise always attuned to scale, capability, and detail. Edgar’s leadership is grounded in mentorship and collaboration, creating a space where ideas can grow, and where creative risks lead to lasting results. Hakop, a licensed general contractor with over 18 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, trade show construction, furniture production, and logistics, is the backbone of the team. From intricate custom builds to large-scale installations, his precision and problem-solving ensure BloqLab’s creations are built to the highest standard. As a longtime collaborator with MoonLab Productions, Hakop continues to bring bold creative visions to life through flawless execution. Cassandra began collaborating with Edgar and Hakop in 2012 during the early stages of all their careers, working together in design, production, and fabrication. With a family legacy in manufacturing, her relatives founded The Michler Co., builders of the world’s largest wagons and sleighs, Cassandra brings deep roots in design and building. Years later, her company MoonLab catalyzed the formal creation of BloqLab, transforming years of creative alignment into a dedicated space for innovation and fabrication. Today, she supports the ecosystem strategy across BloqLab, MoonLab, and EarthLab connecting the ventures with global partners to advance sustainable and innovative design solutions.
